LED Christmas lights have excellent uses in other seasons as well and just because they are known as Christmas lights does not mean you cannot innovate. So, consider outlining your flowerbeds with strands of lights in a color that complements the color scheme of your flowers. If you have mainly pastels then try using bolder colors for your lights, for example. You can also use LEDs to wrap around large containers of plants, to increase their appeal. All these ideas are also fabulous for garden parties and guests usually adore them.
Tips on Installing
The first thing you should do is to make sure all your light strands are working by testing them, since you don’t want to find you have stapled them in place and then they don’t work. Why do work twice when checking takes only one minute? And don’t say because you don’t have time. Will you have time to take them down and put them up again? No! Of course not, your time is the one commodity that you can never recover or get a refund on therefore try spending an extra minute to save half an hour or an hour.
Next, use a ladder, preferably an expanding one, to reach all those high areas and begin to staple them in place with a staple gun. Do try to make sure that the end of the LED Christmas lights with the plug attachment is within easy reach of a power socket, and also that it’s at the bottom versus being on the roof, or in the top of a tree.
Since knowledge is power, you know have the power to use your LED Christmas lights to their maximum potential. So, it’s time to get to work, and maybe even see what other innovative ideas you can come up with to decorate your garden.
